The joy of watching live cricket in Nepal: Recently, cricket world cup league 2 matches were held in TU ground in Kritipur where Nepal was the host country and was one competitor among other participating nations. The international cricket matches have arrived and conducted in Nepal after so long period of time. The presence of cricket in Nepal celebrated in very different ways by the Nepali fans at TU ground. The first match of Nepal was against Oman where the partially furnished ground was fully packed on such a cold morning on Feb 5. The passion and love of the Nepali fan and spectators towards the cricket was amazing and it was regularly admired by the commentators commenting on the live game. Among the associate countries, Nepal supposed to have the maximum number of fan followings for the Cricket. Even the former caption of Nepali cricket team Paras Khadka repeatedly acknowledge the immense support and love for the cricket and players by the Nepali fans.

Cricket matches of Nepal at any corner of the world found to be surrounded by Nepali fans with a red jersey and red Nepali flags on hand and cheering Nepal Nepal Nepal !! Being my self as a cricket lover it provides me enormous pleasure seeing all those red jersey and flags on the ground watching live streaming on Tvs and youtube back at home in Kathmandu.

But the real journey of Nepali Cricket has just started as they played world cricket league 2 ODI matches at home soil against Oman on Feb 5. They will regularly play competitive ODI matches during the 2 and half years, if they stand top 3 in the table, the door will open for the world cup to be held in India in 2023. Slowly Nepali cricket is getting attention and concerned around the cricketing world. As cricket is getting solid popularity in Nepal with the continued good performance of the Nepali Cricket team, the cricketing future of Nepal seems bright.
